The Black Student Alliance serves as the umbrella organization for all of Mississippi State University's predominately African-American organizations.  Such organizations include, but aren't limited to, the NAACP, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and all nine of our African-American Greek letter organizations.  The Black Student Alliance is not the "supervisor" or "boss" of these organizations, who tells them what they should or shouldn't do; we are merely the liaison between them and university administration.   Listed below is a definitive list of organizations sponsored by the Black Student Alliance.
